Once again, we're excited to present two more winners of 2017 Core Values Awards. What was the situation they faced? What were the challenges and how did they meet them? What made their projects stand out for the judges? What can you learn and apply to your own work?

The Tennessee Department of Transportation won Project of the Year (General Category) for its long-range transportation strategy that worked to address an $8-billion backlog of projects. (Watch their Core Values Award video here.)

The Liard Aboriginal Women's Society (LAWS) in Watson Lake, Yukon, in partnership with Beringia Community Planning, won the IAP2 Canada award for Indigenous Engagement. LAWS and Beringia set up a process to address a growing problem of assaults on Indigenous women and girls in the community, which brought together Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth to raise awareness and work through solutions. When you register, remember the two-stage process: your confirmation email will contain a link to our webinar provider site. Just fill in that form to receive your login information.
