Getting to the conference

We know that travelling to Banff requires an extra step in transportation, so we have arranged some options for you to get from Calgary International Airport to Banff and back.

  1. IAP2 Canada has partnered with Direct Travel to provide all the services you'll need for getting to and from the conference. Direct Travel has negotiated discounts with the airlines. They can coordinate your flights and ground transportation and have staff available around the clock to help deal with any issues that might arise. Contact Direct Travel for more information: iap2canada@dt.com.
  2. Conference-goers can also receive a 15% discount on the Banff Airporter, which offers ten trips daily, each way. The discount is good for travel between September 11 and 18. Contact conference@iap2canada.ca to obtain the promo code.

COVID-19 measures

The Banff Centre has implemented its own COVID policies for visitors accessing the Centre. To learn more about the COVID-19 measures at the Banff Centre, please consult their website. IAP2 Canada will be following federal and provincial COVID-19 public health protocols, at minimum, for our conference. Out of respect for other attendees, regardless of which protocols are in place, we will be encouraging all participants to wear masks.

The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity's land acknowledgment

We acknowledge, with deep respect and gratitude, our home on the side of Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain, in the beautiful and special territory of Treaty 7. We recognize the past, present, and future generations of Stoney Nakoda, Blackfoot, Tsuut’ina Nations, and Métis from Region 3, who help us steward this land, as well as honour and celebrate this place.
