IAP2 Monthly Learning Webinar - Core Values Award Winners - 2: Leaders in Research

Here is another opportunity to learn from an award-winning P2 project in the past year -- one which was also honored by the entire IAP2 Federation -- and see how you can apply the experiences and lessons learned to your own project!

Research is a vital component in the P2 profession, laying the groundwork for successful projects and meaningful outcomes. The St Vrain Valley School District in Colorado received the IAP2 USA Core Values Award as Research Project of the Year for "Leadership St Vrain", which gives parents more opportunity for input in the school system. Dr John Poynton, who launched the project, and Laura McDonald, one of the parents involved, will share how they "sold" the idea to the district and what the impact has been on public education.

At the IAP2 Australasian Conference in November, this project received the Core Values Award from the IAP2 Federation, beating out other projects from around the world.
