Workshop: Integrating Diverse Input into Decision Making” - Maggie Bratland, Senior Environmental Specialist - Manitoba Hydro Transmission

Representing a proponent in the early stages of planning a new development can be a daunting task. Every time we decide where to place a new development we are making trade-offs – determining what land use or natural quality is more important than another. Maggie will share approaches that Manitoba Hydro has used to help guide transmission line planning, the challenges of being transparent in decision making, and the value and limitations of these techniques to help build trust and inform decision making.
