Wild Rose Signature Event - Across the IAP2 Spectrum

From inform and consult to collaborate and empower, this Signature Event will provide a broad range of facilitated conversations, hands on activities, and informal opportunities to broaden the conversation about how we are engaging the public and stakeholders.

This one-day event includes the following:

• A delicious lunch and networking event combined with the annual general meeting to kick things off
• Interactive sessions after lunch focusing on skill building and trying new techniques including graphic facilitation basics
• A panel conversation with a range of leaders across industries touched by public participation including Kate Thompson, VP of Development at CMLC, Trevor Joyal, Public Engagement Lead at Maskwa Environmental Consulting Ltd., Lorna Crowshoe Aboriginal Issues Strategies at The City of Calgary, Nicole Merrifield, Director of Community Engagement at Alberta Health Services, with Moderator Shawn Bravender, Director of Public Engagement at The City of Edmonton
• An evening keynote event with Fiona Cavanagh, Director of Consultation with the Province of Alberta over dinner at Bookers. (please note that Bookers is an 8 minute walk from the hotel)
