CanNorth has a proven expertise in communication and trust building between Indigenous, local communities, and industrial developments, and is looking to increase capacity in the Community Division. CanNorth is seeking a highly motivated Senior Human Environment Specialist to work with our talented and multidisciplinary team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Responsibilities in this position will include:

• ·          Leading development of socio-economic and land use studies including community research and reporting as part of provincial and federal impact assessment and sustainability reporting requirements.

• ·          Leading collection and application of Indigenous and local knowledge.

• ·          Designing, implementing, and reporting on Indigenous and public engagement activities including applying engagement results to decision making processes.

• ·          Supporting design and facilitation of community-based and community-led research.

• ·          Developing clear language materials, reports and presentations.

• ·          Project management and client communication.
