We are seeking a Senior Stakeholder Relations Advisor to join the Customer Experience and Public Affairs team. In this role, you will work with a talented and inclusive team of professionals in the development and implementation of Stakeholder Relations strategies that enable ICBC to build authentic relationships with diverse stakeholders, as we work together to create an insurance system that is moving all forward.

We are seeking an influential, self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a track record of experience applying knowledge of stakeholder engagement principles, best practices and methodologies to develop effective results. You will seek and implement continuous improvement based on effective monitoring and evaluation of stakeholder engagement in a public sector environment.

Position Requirements
As Senior Stakeholder Relations Advisor, you will:
• Develop and direct stakeholder relations' strategy through consultation with others in the division and with executives and business areas, ensuring alignment with corporate goals
• Oversee all aspects of stakeholder relations plans, including monitoring progress and achievements, identifying issues and developing options and recommendations
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior executives to support their stakeholder outreach initiatives and to manage, issues or concerns
• Identify, build and maintain trusting, strategic business relationships with key stakeholders; endeavor to align stakeholder and ICBC interests and increase a positive understanding of ICBC
• Develop and manage annual evaluation and reporting of stakeholder relations activities.

Position Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• Knowledge of stakeholder engagement principles, techniques and methodologies to plan and undertake new initiatives
• Knowledge of project planning and project management, and experience working with the leadership of senior management teams
• Education or experience in strategic planning, community partnership development, relationship management or related fields
• Familiarity with the current legislative and regulatory environment, government structure, and political relationships and practices.

Position Information
As announced by the Provincial government, all ICBC employees will be required to show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination.
