Experiencing any of these issues during your online meetings and events???

  • Too many talking heads?
  • Find yourself leaving tired, drained and uninspired?
  • Struggling to build creative energy?
  • Losing your vibrant team culture?

What we are seeing…

Dynamic, interactive and engaging online meetings and session workshops have never been more important. Many of our stakeholder sessions and community meetings have forever changed – online gathering will continue to be a norm, long past COVID-19. How you show up, interact with online participants, ability to “read the room” and navigate the unique needs of any online conversation, not only impacts the meeting results but also the experience people have with it.

Here’s what we know…

This course ISN’T about finding the right online platform, facilitation skills or event planning. This course digs deeper, it’s is all about YOU - your presence, your style, your ability to ignite collaboration and energize colleagues and participants.

The very best P2 practitioners continually hone their ability to craft just the right space for people to create and connect. So join the 2-hour session where we co-create a shared understanding of how best to engage your participants, lead dynamic, energized creative conversations all the while leaving people feeling inspired, willing and eager to join your next online meeting! No fancy tools, platforms or gadgets required!

PLEASE NOTE: If you are a member of IAP2 Canada please log into the website (top right-hand corner) to register automatically at the member rate. International IAP2 members require a code to register. Please contact info@iap2canada.ca to obtain it.

Learning Objectives
Participants can expect to walk away with:
  • Knowledge of traditional online meeting norms that lead to sterile, stuffy space
  • A how-to guide for setting the best tone and environment so your participants and stakeholders feel comfortable and ready to engage in meaningful ways
  • Three key fundamentals to “reading the online room” (people participate differently online, learn to read the invisible cues)

Trainer: Kim Hyshka, CP3

Kim Hyshka, CP3Kim Hyshka, CP3 is a believer that just about anything is possible with a little dialogue. She’s on a mission, to chart a different course for public conversations. Better conversations that open possibility, cultivate collaboration and spark change through dialogue. With over 10 years working in the field of engagement, she has developed a passion for designing and facilitating conversations that matter and creating engagement experiences where participants feel valued, relationships are built and initiatives and projects move forward. You’ll find her in the midst of both large and small-scale projects, bringing experience facilitating community forums in large urban centers or walking pipelines with Elders in the remote wilderness.
