Are you passionate about meaningful public participation and democratic decision-making? IAP2 Canada is looking for experienced and committed individuals to join our national Board of Directors and help guide our growing organization.

As a volunteer Board Member, you’ll help shape the strategic direction of IAP2 Canada, contribute to good governance, and champion the values of inclusion, transparency, and community engagement. You’ll support the organization through monthly board meetings, committee work, and collaboration with staff and fellow directors to strengthen our impact and reach.

You are: An experienced professional (5+ years) with a passion for public participation and a commitment to equity and good governance. You bring strategic insight and professional experience in one or more areas such as finance, law, nonprofit governance, or program development. Previous board or committee experience is an asset.

Time commitment: Approx. 5–10 hours per month. This is a remote role with meetings held virtually.

Please note: All Board Members must be members of IAP2 Canada in good standing during their term.
