    Our Liquid Waste Services Department is seeking a Program Manager for the Public Involvement program to lead a dynamic engagement team. The team is responsible for developing and implementing engagement processes for both policy and construction projects.

    Engagement work ranges from the development of liquid waste policies to engaging communities on the design and construction of collection sewers, pumping stations and treatment plants. This position works closely with divisions across Liquid Waste Services and the broader organization.

    Situated within the Future Challenges Directorate of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), provide leadership, organizational direction and lead engagement to contribute to reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and to design Indigenous research programs. The purpose of the work is to contribute to achieving SSHRC’s objectives and enhance its visibility with regard to supporting the harmonization of innovative approaches to Indigenous research and research training, yielding long-term benefits for Canadian society.
