    Are you passionate about P2 and the standards for the practice?  Do you see IAP2 Certification as prerequisites for jobs and requirements in RFPs?

    The IAP2 Canada Certification Task Force is seeking two motivated individuals for a six-month commitment starting in June. As a Task Force member, you will review the CP3 (Certified Public Participation Professional) certification program materials, continue work on the MCP3 (Master Certified Public Participation Professional) program and certification core competencies, and help recruit qualified assessors to deliver two assessment centres a year.

    Kiewit’s Ottawa is seeking an experienced Communications & Graphic Design Coordinator support its urban transit project group for the Stage 2 LRT/ Confederation Line Extension. 

    This work will also support our public inquiry system, announcement and event co-ordination, issuing materials including creating construction-related graphics, notices, video clips, fact sheets, display boards, website content and other material to assist stakeholders and the public to understand our projects. The candidate will play an essential role in co-ordinating our activities in collaboration with our project partners. The candidate will also be a high-performing communicator who is fully bilingual in English and French.

As a key spokesperson, the candidate will also build and maintain positive trusting relationships with journalists, coordinating with the client on prompt responses to media inquiries and guide other senior management spokespersons who will address technical matters.     UN DESA is organizing a preparatory workshop the weekend before the 2019 HLPF (High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development) to strengthen the capacity of Major Groups and other Stakeholders (MGoS) to meaningfully engage in the HLPF under the auspices of ECOSOC in July 2019. This workshop will inform and support the effective contributions of a group of approximately 50 MGoS representatives who will be participating in the HLPF for the first time.

    The consultant will work under the guidance and supervision of DESA/OISC and in collaboration with designated members of the Steering Group of the MGoS Coordination Mechanism over a period of 30 working days between 28 May and 10 July 2019 to prepare training materials and facilitate the workshop from Friday 5 July through Sunday 7 July, prior to the HLPF.

    IAP2 Federation is seeking a contractor for a sort-term project to manage the content development, design and production of two publications: 2018 Federation Annual Report and Core Values Awards Showcase. Please find the attached RFP for distributing in your circles.

    This piece of work has three key elements:

    • Content Development – Gathering content from IAP2 national affiliates and international, copywriting, editing, image selection, organizing content and ensuring key information is presented.
    • Design - Publication design must be professional and easy to read, and design elements should have visual appeal, apply accessibility principles and flow throughout the document.
    • Production – Each publication is produced as a “printable booklet” PDF file, downloadable from the IAP2 website, with active hyperlinks.
