Its that time of year again! Annual General Meeting Time!

The 2020 Prairie Chapters Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place virtually on July 8th. Join us to learn what the Prairie Chapter has been up to over the past year, bid farewell to our departing board members, and welcome our 2021-2022 board of directors.

Members and non-member welcome!

Following our short AGM agenda, we invite you to stay and participate in our July Chapter Chat, a virtual platform for public participation and engagement practitioners and friends to come together to network, share, and learn from each other.

Let's "Chat" About Community-informed Decision Making on Infrastructure Projects!

During this Chapter Chat, we will be joined by Maggie Bratland and Lindsay Thompson from Manitoba Hydro to learn more about community-informed decision making in infrastructure projects. Participants will learn about Manitoba Hydro’s approach to incorporating diverse community perspectives into choosing a route for a new transmission line.  Tools and techniques for gathering input and reaching consensus will be covered.

How it works:
  1. Register for our AGM and July Chapter Chat by Monday July 5th - its free, members and non-members from SK, MB and northwest ON welcome.
  2. We will confirm your registration and send you the Zoom link.
  3. Connect, build skills, and share experiences.
  4. We will take some notes and share those notes with resource links to all participants after the session.

So what is the Chapter Chat?

Since March 2020, our priorities and needs as practitioners have changed. The Prairie Chapter Chat is a place to connect, recharge, become inspired, build your skill set, share your experiences, and learn from other local practitioners with the shared goal of advancing the practice for all.

Join us on Zoom, Thursday, July 8th at 11:30am CST, 12:30pm CT.
Registration required - please RSVP by Monday July 5th.
Let's learn from each other.
