Many people are skeptical about starting the New Year with resolutions and goals. Often people try to build plans for the new year on top of last year’s unfinished business; it’s like trying to launch a rocket from a messy office. In this first Learning Webinar of the year, you will be guided through a process that encourages you to reflect on 2013, put the junk of 2013 in the past, keep the lessons and wisdom, and otherwise get a fresh start to create the future of 2014.
Our presenter will be
Dr Billy Strean
of the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension.
Dr Strean has developed
Exhilarated Performance
, which combines proven principles of somatics, sport psychology, laughter and play. He is the 2008 recipient of the University of Alberta’s Rutherford Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and in 2011 he was one of ten Canadians to win the prestigious
3M National Teaching Fellowship
.
The Exhilarated Approach
is the foundation of his success both in the classroom as well as outside the classroom as a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator. Check him out at
