The focus of this course is on the collection, analysis, use, and reporting back of input collected through P2/engagement, and evaluation of, and reporting on, success of P2/engagement processes.

Course Objectives: 

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Identify considerations for ensuring the integrity of managing and analyzing P2/engagement data
  • Explain qualitative and quantitative approaches to data analysis
  • Analyse qualitative data to theme and interpret meaning
  • Define the purpose for evaluation P2/engagement
  • Describe the approach to evaluating P2/engagement
  • Explain what to consider and include in effectively reporting back on P2/engagement
  • Reflect on potential challenges and strategies to upholding integrity throughout data management, data analysis, evaluation and reporting back 

Target Audience: 

  • Practitioners with some public participation and engagement practice experience who are looking to cement their knowledge and skills

Course Delivery:

Online - Trainer Led | Hosted by IAP2 Canada.

Prerequisite:

Completion of either the Fundamentals of P2 and Engagement, the IAP2 Way in Challenging Contexts, or the previous Foundations program is required to enroll in this course.
