    The City of Winnipeg is looking for one permanent and one temporary Public Engagement Officer to join a dynamic team in the Office of Public Engagement within the Customer Service and Communications Department. Under the general direction of the Manager of Public Engagement, the Public Engagement Officer is responsible for working with divisions in developing, coordinating, implementing and maintaining public engagement strategies.     CityHive is currently seeking an Operations & Special Projects Lead to fill a unique role that blends together internal operations and supporting the delivery of youth engagement projects. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, this role will oversee CityHive’s operations, administrative systems, and team development as the organization’s work and impact grows. The Operations & Special Projects Lead will also support other CityHive program areas as needed, which may include scoping out new projects and opportunities for youth engagement in Metro Vancouver, fund development support, program design and facilitation.

    Responsabilités En tant que stagiaire vos responsabilités comprennent :

    • Appuyer la conception de processus de participation publique et d’engagement des parties prenantes en ligne et en personne en utilisant une diversité de méthodes appropriées aux contextes et visant des objectifs de diversité, d'équité et d'inclusion ;
    • Développer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies de communication pour rejoindre, mobiliser et informer les publics visés en utilisant une diversité d’outils et de canaux ;
    • Mener des travaux de recherche et d’analyse portant sur une diversité de sujets, incluant le profil, les besoins, les intérêts, les perceptions de communautés et de parties prenantes ;
    • Rédiger des documents de différents types destinés aux clients, aux parties prenantes et au public ;
    • Supporter les directeurs de compte dans la réalisation des livrables et le suivi des échéanciers ;
    • Participer à des rencontres, assurer la prise de notes et la rédaction de comptes-rendus ;
    • Supporter les efforts de développement des affaires en appuyant l’élaboration d’offres de services ;
    • Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.

    Exigences et compétences :

    • Baccalauréat (complété ou en voie d’obtention) communication, science politique ou sciences sociales, urbanisme, environnement, gestion ou autre domaine pertinent ;
    • Maîtrise de la langue française et anglaise, à l’oral et à l’écrit ;
    • Créativité et excellentes habiletés de rédaction ;
    • Habileté de planification et de coordination, sens de l’organisation ;
    • Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et rigoureuse ;
    • Esprit d’équipe.

    Il s’agit d’un stage rémunéré à temps plein (35 heures/semaine) d’une durée de 16 semaines, de mai à août 2021.
