Award Winning P2 Innovation at TransLink
When
10 Jan 2012
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Location
Webinar
Every year IAP2 recognizes outstanding projects and the people behind them that exemplify the very best in public participation from around the world. The measure is IAP2’s Core Values – those seven standards that we as practitioners strive to achieve in our public participation processes to ensure effective and meaningful engagement.
One of last year’s organization recipients happens to be from Canada, and fittingly, the project’s lead is our very own IAP2 Canada President, Amelia Shaw.
Join us to listen to Amelia’s story about TransLink's (Metro Vancouver Region, BC) project which won the 2010 Core Values Award for Innovation. Amelia will explain the challenge, what was considered, what was accomplished that earned them this honour, and what she has learned from this since.
