Applications will soon be taken for the first-ever IAP2 Canada Core Values Awards, to be recognized at the upcoming 2014 IAP2 Canada North American Conference in Winnipeg.
To get people thinking about projects to nominate for this year's honours, IAP2 Canada and IAP2 USA co-present a special two-part Learning Webinar, featuring the project leads of past winners from our two countries.
Tracy McCabe
and her team with the City of Calgary received a "Highly Commended" citation in the IAP2 Federation Member-at-Large category last year, for their project, "
RouteAhead: the 30-Year Strategic Plan for Calgary Transit"
.
Corri Planck
and
Daphne Dennis
led a team with the City of West Hollywood, in creating the "
2013 Community Study: Engaging, Listening, Learning
." This project shared the IAP2 USA Project of the Year honors.
How did they do it? What impressed the judging panel? What made their P2 projects unique and how did they reflect IAP2's Core Values? Join us: get thinking about projects worth nominating this year (especially your own) and get your creative juices flowing again for future P2 efforts.
As always, these Learning Webinars are free for members and only C$50.00 for non-members.
