    The Government Digital Experience (GDX) division supports ministries to run public engagements initiatives, service design projects, citizen facing websites and several other information technology solutions for modernizing government.

    The Citizen Engagement Team provides strategic leadership and cross-government coordination of public engagement initiatives that contribute to legislative, regulatory, policy and service improvements across government. The Citizen Engagement Team is part of Government Digital Experience Division (GDX) and provides corporate leadership by designing and implementing large scale, complex public engagement initiatives across government. These initiatives allow all British Columbians to have a say in the policies and services that affect their lives. The Team manages two public facing web platforms, engage.gov.bc.ca and GovTogetherBC.

    Wood has an immediate employment opportunity for a junior to intermediate level Engagement Tracking Specialist. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who, among many tasks, will take pride in accurately entering data and summarizing engagement activities for client reports. The successful candidate will work on a broad range of projects and sectors in western and northern Canada, including resource development, infrastructure, municipal and water resources. Understanding and responding to the concerns of those impacted by a project is critical to successful project development, and the Engagement Tracking Specialist position is essential in assisting our team in gaining that understanding.

    Primary responsibility will be working with Wood’s proprietary Stakeholder and Issues Information Management System (SIIMS) – entering contacts, identifying concerns, assigning topics, tracking actions and commitments, writing summaries, producing reports, and writing proposals for engagement tracking services. Based on experience and interest, there will be also opportunities to plan and participate in engagement activities for various projects.

    Reporting to the Lead, Advisory Council Relations, the Advisory Council Advisor plays a key role in ensuring three Health Advisory Councils (HACs) meet their Bylaw requirements and are supported in providing advice and feedback to Alberta Health Services. The True North, Lesser Slave Lake, and Peace HACs are comprised of up to 15 AHS volunteers per Council who represent the diversity of their Council area. Each Council holds two public meetings and two public engagement events per year. The Advisor is responsible for working with a diverse range of both internal and external stakeholders in guiding Council work and supporting Council activities. Stakeholder relations is a key element of the Advisor role. Advisors work to ensure that the voices of the community are included in health system planning, and foster strong linkages between Council members and Alberta Health Services’ leadership.

    IAP2 International is looking for a Project Manager to drive four key strategic initiatives in Professional Development for the global IAP2 organisation.

    • Drive the Training Harmonization Project to develop and produce the new curriculum on the IAP2 Global Learning Pathway (14 courses) within the approved timeline and budget. Lead the curriculum review process to ensure IAP2 quality standards are met and courses are ready for launch.
    • Project manage the development of two additional courses in Online Engagement and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in P2 with third-party consultants/vendors.
    • Lead the Interim Train the Trainer Process (T3) (training, evaluation, licensing, and mentoring) of existing and new trainers for the new curriculum in the Global Learning Pathway. Advance the recruitment of trainers to meet the needs of IAP2 Regions and manage all other necessary elements to conduct the T3 and meet completion, timeline, and budget expectations.
    • In collaboration with IAP2 Regions, lead the work to translate the new courses into other languages (e.g., French, Spanish, and Bahasa), as identified.

    As a Community Engagement Advisor with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:

    As part the Communications and Public Affairs team at Vancouver Coastal Health, you'll develop and lead community engagement strategies that ensure the patient’s voice is at the centre of our delivery of care and community members – including diverse patient and client groups, families, public stakeholders and partners – are consulted in planning as part of Vancouver Coastal Health’s (VCH) priorities, strategic initiatives and projects.

    Keeping current with trends and best practices in community engagement, particularly within a complex organizational environment, you’re well prepared to lead region-wide projects that require community participation and ensure we are implementing a wide range of tools and techniques to reach patients, clients, residents, families, hard-to-reach public stakeholders and the community at large.

    You’ll work with leaders across VCH to integrate community engagement practices and collaborate with Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, Digital Content and Patient Experience to be responsive to community needs, support continuous community dialogue and ensure stakeholders are informed and empowered to provide meaningful input as partners in care.
