KelownaJessica Delaney is a seasoned engagement and communications leader with more than 25 years of experience working across government, private, and not-for-profit sectors. She has led and provided strategic oversight for more than 100 complex public participation and communications projects across Canada, often in high-stakes and multi-party contexts. Prior to her current role, Jessica held senior communications positions with the Resort Municipality of Whistler and the District of West Vancouver. Her practice spans public participation, facilitation, strategic communications, change management, and organizational learning, with particular depth in municipal governance, housing, and Indigenous engagement.
Jessica brings a strong learning and coaching lens to her work, supported by formal training in organizational coaching, Indigenous cultural safety, and First Nations information governance. Known for her collaborative and practical facilitation style, she works closely with staff, elected officials, interested and impacted parties, and Indigenous communities to navigate complexity, build shared understanding, and support informed decision-making. She is a Certified Public Participation Professional (CP3), a licensed IAP2 trainer, a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) through the International Association for Facilitation (IAF), and a Certified Organizational Coach (COC) through UBC. |
