Colleen McMahon, CP3

Colleen is a seasoned communications leader with over 20 years of experience in public participation, marketing research, and strategic communications. She currently serves as a Public Engagement Advisor with the Government of Saskatchewan.

Colleen leads province-wide engagement strategies on key initiatives, including legislation, regulations, and programs. She is an experienced facilitator, leading both in-person and virtual workshops, stakeholder consultations, and training sessions. Colleen is passionate about building trust in public institutions, fostering meaningful dialogue, and ensuring that diverse voices are heard wherever decisions are made.

Colleen’s contributions to public service have been recognized with two Premier’s Awards for Excellence for her leadership in advancing The Accessible Saskatchewan Act (2023) and creation of an Autism Spectrum Disorder Parent Advisory Group. These initiatives reflect her strong commitment to accessibility and amplifying the voices of those with lived experience in government decision-making.

Colleen holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and a Master of Science in Market Research from the University of Saskatchewan as well as a Certificate in Public Relations at the University of Regina.

Colleen enjoys being active running and cross-country skiing with her family and friends and rehearsing with her women’s choir.
